Plan-iT Earth Partnership

Plan-iT Earth approached awen with an educational project (funded by English Heritage) which needed visual representation. Consulting with us their requirements, audience and budget, 'Traditions to Transition' became a 23 mins documentary to be used as a tool to increase environmental awareness by examining how the traditions from the past can inform for a positive, sustainable future for Penwith.   

Following its success, Plan-iT Earth approached us again to create a promotional DVD of their environmental education work.  'Transition Curriculum' is a 26 mins chaptered DVD which was funded by RIO/Creative Partnerships and launched at The Eden Project 2009.

To continue the collaboration, Plan-iT Earth and awen approached English Heritage with a touring film programme.  Here we supported Plan-iT Earth with the concept, budgeting and delivery of the project.

Shallal

After running a one day editing workshop with members of Shallal Dance Theatre, funding was sought to produce a short film Shallal - making an almighty din which forms the basis of a longer form documentary currently in production.  awen are also currently project developing and fundraising for Shallal Dance Theatre's main creative arts work.
